The association "NEM-Nuovi Eventi Musicali" was born in Florence from an idea of group of artists in 2000. After we were recognized by many awards from some of the most important nowadays musicians; the activity of association is based on the refuse of the musician selling-rules from the agencies and to not adapt its programms with Italian most popular ones. We prefer to have a special, direct and continous relationship with our artists to find out togheter new ways of production, mostly of them based on chamber music. Since then, we have been planning concerts, musical events and music festivals not just in Florence, but also all over Tuscany and soon in USA, Germany, France, Russia and South Korea. During the first years, our attention was focused mostely on classical-chamber music; but, while we were growing up, we have been involing on Jazz, Rock, Gospel Choir, Tango and Contemponary Music events. We were pleased to work with artists such as Valery Polansky, Alexander Ivashkin, Mikhail Kopelman, Irina Schnittke, Boris Berman, Mstislav Rostropovich, Laurie Anderson and many more.
